Supported Formats
Last Updated: March 24, 2026
This page lists the file types and document formats currently supported by TextToPDF. The site focuses on a smaller set of tools so the experience stays clear and the results stay consistent.

.webpimage files. - Output format: Browser-generated
.pdffiles through the print dialog. - Current size limit: Up to 10MB per file, 20 files, and 80MB total per browser batch.
- Important note: Animated WebP files usually print the visible frame rather than the full animation.
Formats Not Currently Supported
TextToPDF does not currently present itself as a universal office file converter. Formats such as .docx, .rtf, .odt, .pages, workbook spreadsheets, presentation files, and image uploads outside the OCR and WebP to PDF flows may not be supported across all tools.
Why Support Is Limited to These Formats
A narrower list of supported formats keeps the tools easier to use and reduces confusing output. That also makes it easier to explain what each tool is meant to do before a user uploads a document.
Future Format Support
We may expand support over time as the product grows. Any new format support will be listed on this page after it becomes available in the live service.
